Spring Registration and Presidents Letter
Spring Registration is now Open at
OSSoccer.org
OSSC President’s Letter
Spring will be here next month, maybe. Please register early for youth soccer. Cost is $40 for returning players and $80 for new players, which includes a complete uniform and insurance through CT. Jr. Soccer Assoc. (CJSA). OSSC has a number of uniforms available, which will go to new players first. Payment needs to be made before receiving uniforms.
Current second graders may play in spring, but will be competing at the U-10 level. Parents should consider the size and age difference before registering their children as some U-10 players in spring are already 10 years old.
Scholarships are available based on need. OSSC uses the school lunch assistance guidelines. Please contact me at

Fields may not be available in Old Saybrook this year for spring soccer. Teams may have to play all six games away, so this should also be considered before registering. There is a new Park & Recreation Department field located on Ferry Road that will probably be available for soccer next fall. Old Saybrook Soccer Club is going to donate new goals. This field will be for 8 vs. 8 small sided games.
If you are interested in volunteering, including coaching, there is a block on the registration form. There may not be head coaching positions available in spring, but there may be a need for assistants. All volunteers must complete a background check, at no cost.
OSSC will again have Challenger summer camp in August.
Our goal is to keep youth soccer fun while developing skills, friendships and teamwork. Thank you for your support and understanding.
